In 1971 I started riding at the age of 8 years old in the coaldirt hills of
Pennsylvania. I learned how to properly ride in 1986 in Alaska when the Air Force
made me take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Riding Street Skills Course.
The course changed my life. Having been self taught and listening to other
non-schooled riding friends, I quickly discovered all the bad habits that I had. I
wanted to to help other motorcyclists learn that riding with the correct skills and
safely also increases the enjoyment of riding. In 1996 I became a Certified MSF
Instructor, now known as a Rider Coach. Teaching/facilitating the MSF Rider Courses
is the most rewarding work I do. Come join us for some no pressure riding
education. I currently ride R100GS PD and R1150RT BMWs and an FJR1300 Yamaha. My
riding passion is long cross country road Trips.
